My dear Bunche,

May I refer to your letter of 29th April regarding Food Supplies for Palestine.

2. I have now received the following information in reply to your enquiry relating to the supply of Sugar:-

3. Further details are not at present available, but the Food Controller in Palestine was able to inform the representatives of the Jewish and Arab importers that the quantity of sugar already ordered would be sufficient until 1st August at the present rate of consumption.
